♦ How much currency in Dogecoin have you saved up?

ummmmmmmmmmm not even 1 haye

Where did you start and of all places – how did you end up in Perth, Australia?

I was born in South Africa left when I was a year old, raised in Zimbabwe. left Zimbabwe when I was 13 lived in the UK for 5 or 6 years been living in Australia for 5 years.

What’s the coolest/most unknown thing you could tell me about yourself?

Hmm. I would have to say that my cousin is the Princess of Monaco.  Not many people believe me when i first tell them that too.

Where’s your favorite place in the world?

Good question, probably Zimbabwe… as they say, there’s no place like home.

How did you get into producing music?

Well I started off DJing for three years, at which point I began making bootlegs. After that I got into making Dutch House until I began doing more and more progressive sounding material.

What kind of you music did you grow up listening to – how did they influence you?

Well, while growing up in Zimbabwe, music is a luxury – many just didn’t have it. But once I moved to the UK, things changed – opening up a whole new world. I had always loved music, but when I heard Basement Jaxx – that’s what really got me into house music.

Did you move to Australia for Fosters? If not, what’s your favorite beer?

Haha no one drinks fosters here! Plus, I don’t really like drinking that much though anyways – too much music to make.

How has your family played a role in your growth as an artist?

To be honest, not really any at all. They just don’t understand it.

What keeps you in the studio five – ten hours a day?

Passion.

Obviously you have found success, what do you think makes you make stand out from other artists?

I don’t feel I’m successful just yet. I still have my day job – haha. I hope one day though, that’s if Mat Zo doesn’t start some sort of new trend that all artists are now making music for free. I love making music and I don’t do it for the money. However, you have to survive somehow and you you can’t live off of it. If the situation has no remedy, I think we will lose some real talent.

What’s your ideal Saturday Night?

Well, three or four years ago I would have definitely said DJing and clubbing. Today, that’s a little different – I’d feel more comfortable staying in making a some music catching up on a little TV :o)

Tell us a little about “Creating Memories”

“Creating Memories” is my the second EP I’ve done for Progressive House Worldwide. Alex and Freddy, the guys behind the brilliant label are just so easy going, laid back and supportive. I’m definitely the most proud of this new EP “Creating Memories” than previously released ones too. I think I’ve put together four great tracks and right now I’m number 24 in the top 100 progressive releases!

Do you have a favorite track on your new EP? Which one and why?

I do: immortal  – but strange enough it’s not the one everyone else seems to like 🙁

But, I’ve always wanted to make that kind of track so I’m glad I did.

If you could collaborate with any producer at this time, who would it be?

I’ve been super lucky so far with great collaborations with some awesome artists… but if I had to pick one or two, I would say James Woods and Roald Velden. Both of those guys are great artists and really friendly guys 🙂

Oh and by the way, a James Woods collaboration may be coming out soon!
