Tangle & Mateusz – “Basilisk” – BUY
Here’s something from two Denver-based producers Tangle & Mateusz. Also known as Evan Dackerman and Matt Koucky, the two have been working together since mid 2011. Due to unspecified reasons, the two have decided to part ways and produce separately. :/ So… this will unfortunately be our first and last post on Tangle & Mateusz. Signed to Enhanced, the two introduce the track on an uplifting note developing synths into bass-happy style that’s becoming more and more popular among younger producers. Just as the track develops, Tangle & Mateusz unveil “Basilisk” and take the sound back to square one. It’s sad to see a cool duo split ways, but if both parties can continue making kickass choons, then we’re happy. YOLO kids. (srsly tho)
