A little while back we promised to feature up and coming producers that may or may not be currently working with any record labels. The idea behind it was, we wanted to help showcase such talent in a place where label A&R guys can check these artists out. The latest addition to out Emergent section is a Montréal-based producer that goes by the name of Imaginary Sounds. Also known as Jean-Daniel, the 24 year old Sound Engineer began listening to trance at the age of 15. Since that time he’s worked on a promoting music and artists on SoundSets.ca, but has since taken a break to produce his own music. “Head Rush” is his latest single and we thought it definitely deserved a spot on the site. The new single features an electro-infused intro that reminds us of a classic 138 track. The track then builds with chorded layers until is bursts with energy in to what Jean calls “Head Rush” – and that it certainly is.
