So, occasionally we’ll explore the deeper side of music, especially from the likes of Matt Lange. Most recently, Matt has returned with a new EP signed on Anjunadeep, and perhaps his finest work to date: the ‘Staccato EP.’ The new EP showcases three new tracks spanning deep, tech and progressive house sounds and we’ve picked two below to share with you guys today. The lead track “Staccato” is a highlight from Above & Beyond’s new ‘Anjunabeats Volume 11’ compilation, and sees Matt at his anthemic best. Trademark driving grooves lay the foundation for orchestral string melodies, which rise and swirl in a majestic breakdown. The second track “Underscore”, explores deeper territories, coupling subtle progression with an infectious percussive groove, rounded off with a delicate combination of haunting vocals and distant melodies. That said, all three tracks are stunning productions and totally worth your time to check out.
