Trance Nation: Mixed by Aly & Fila – BUY
The latest edition of Ministry of Sound’s Trance Nation compilation was released this week mixed by Egyptian aces Aly and Fila. The duo, whom have been friends since kindergarten, released their first single, ‘Eye of Horus‘, 11 years ago and have continued to move forward ever since – showcased in Trance Nation.
Featuring 14 never before heard tracks; Trance Nation showcases the up-and-coming talent in trance, as well as featuring tracks from powerhouses, such as John O’Callaghan, Ronski Speed and Lange. The album is ecstatically uplifting from the first track to the last, with Aly and Fila’s established eastern sound and mixing technique.
The Trance Nation series has been mixed and compiled by the likes of Above & Beyond, Andy Moor and Cosmic Gate, and Aly and Fila were proud to join that list, saying, “The Trance Nation compilations are legendary; we listened to the original volumes mixed by Ferry Corsten over and over until we wore the CDs out.
