Nigel Good – “Nothing Out Here” Album Review – BUY

There’s no doubt that electronic music has become the Rock n’ Roll of our generation. Much like Rock was dismissed by our parent’s parents, it seems that our parents tend to be less accepting electronic music as a whole: club culture, lack of creativity etc. While there may be some truth to that fact (insert Animals comment here), quality music and creative producers do exist. Such example: Nigel Good.

We’ve covered Nigel Good here on Trance Kids previously and we’ve been loving his sound since. Born and raised in Ontario, Canada, Nigel began playing the piano at the age of five and by 11 Nigel was producing trance music. Since that time Nigel has been refining his sound to what it is today: progressive, melodic and sophisticated.

Nigel’s latest album Nothing Out Here is a dynamic piece of art featuring 13 tracks that are all unique in their own way. Featuring a variety of sounds and influences, it’s hard to really pin-point an exact description for the album, but if we could – we’d try to label it something along the lines of a masterpiece. Boasting a Progressive House vibe, we hear different influences from trance, house, deep house maybe even some drum and bass, but more than any of the above – it’s different. This is truly a unique album and $10 for a priceless album is hard to beat. Do yourself a favor and pick this one up today, you won’t regret it.
