So not only does Genix happen to be one our favorite producers and DJs in the game, but his remix of Above & Beyond‘s “Home” happens to be one our favorites. The UK-based producer, also known as Damion Houchen, is back bigger than ever with a new EP that sounds phenomenal. Signed to Van Dyke‘s Vandit Records, all three tracks from the EP have their own personality with a distinct sound behind each track. The first song off the EP “All Good Things” is one of our favorites boasting a catchy melody, atmospheric piano lines and a funky synth riff throughout. The second track “Something New” features a deep sound with progressive oceanic melodies with overall Low Frequency vibes throughout the track. The final track of album “Tryfan” features a minimally-minded sound with casual progressive build, layered within lucent harmonics and a solid melody. This song has also been buzzing in radio shows and has seen major support from online radio shows. Genix has a great piece of work here and each track featured has a unique yet great sound about it; we’re digging this album and think you should too!
