Here’s something fresh off Intricate Records from Suspect 44. Comprised of three members: Luke Shipstad, Hoz Sabirr and Zhiar Mahmoud, Suspect 44’s new track is an electro funk progressive sounds that’s really unlike anything we’ve heard before. We really enjoy the track, but we’ve got to say it’s a remix that’s got us so stoked. We’ve posted a few times about Blend / Volant and we’re not going to lie – we’re in love with his sound. Blend more commonly known as Tom, recently changed up his alias and is going by Volant. The young producer is based out of the UK (or Hell / Butt City as he often refers to it) and we’re convinced this might just be the future of pop-electro and we’re 100% cool with that. Imagine the sounds of Madeon mixed with Mat Zo and a few aspects of progressive house. That in our opinion, is Volant’s sound: pleasing, upbeat, melodic and full of confidence. We’re putting Volant on our top watch list of 2014 – he’s going to be big and we’re calling it now.
