Seven Lions vs. Myon & Shane 54 feat. Tove Lo – “Strangers” – SC

Strangers

Here’s an all-star track: “Strangers” a collaboration from Seven Lions and Myon & Shane 54 all topped off with the vocals of Tove Lo. A few weeks back we were in Toronto for Veld and actually heard Seven Lions drop this live. At the time we heard it, not a single person (including ourselves) had an idea what it was except we knew one thing: whomever produced this straight killed it. Just recently the track debuted on Myon & Shane’s podcast as well as Above & Beyond‘s Group Therapy and is also a featured on The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones official motion picture soundtrack.

“Strangers” is a perfect combination of bass and trance and leave it to Seven Lions and the Hungarian duo Myon & Shane 54 to do it. Building up from a progressive groove, the vocals of Tove Lo trickle in until a familiar M&S54 sound kicks in, building layer upon layer of goodness. The track then explodes with a bassline like nothing we’ve heard before combining tasteful beats with a progressive trance hook that is just SO good. Put this choon along with “Easy” on repeat, you’ve got yourself one hell of a party.
