One of the coolest parts about being based in New York City is we’re surrounded by talent. Just across the Hudson River, based out of New Jersey is progressive producer that goes by Monoverse. More commonly known Santos Torres, the young producer and DJ has already gained support from the likes of Max Graham, Gareth Emery and Rank 1 to list just a few. Most recently, Monoverse released a new EP featuring two tracks called “Moonlight Division” and “Altostratus”. Signed to Alter Ego Progressive, both of the tracks sound great, producing a full body sound that just radiates with energy. The first track of the EP “Moonlight Division” kicks off on a progressive note, accentuated with the graceful taps of a piano. The refreshing yet upbeat track captures a wide range of sounds that’s mixed perfectly. Featured on the B-side of the EP, is Monoverse’s second track “Altostratus”, combining powerful keys with a new age trance sound. Santos builds the track up to a peak, that just seems to crumble into layers leaving behind a melodic piece that fits so well together. We’re stoked to have Monoverse as one of our resident DJs here in New York City and we’ll surely be watching what’s next for this guy.
