Faruk Sabanci ft. Josie – Wake Up (Mike Danis Remix)
Twenty one year-old Hungarian producer Mike Danis is at it again with a remix of “Wake Up” by Frank Sabanci ft Josie. The track originally debuted in mid summer of 2012 onto Ava Recordings. Based out of Istanbul, Turkey – the twenty year-old producer and DJ Faruk, is signed to Armada and has been receiving all sorts of support from the likes of Paul van Dyke, Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Sander van Doorn and Markus Schulz to name a few.
The Danis remix of the track has taken the sound of “Wake Up” in a different direction while maintaining the original soul of the track. Entering with a glitchy bassline, we’re then soothed by the comforting sound of Josie’s vocals. In anticipation of the drop, Danis is able to string the build-up and create an emotional ride. The remix as a whole has really just come together and we’re really liking what we’re hearing here. Enjoy.
