AWD (Alastair Dolman) – Changes (Original Mix)
AWD, or better known as Alastair Dolman, is a DJ and producer based out of Birmingham. That’s really all we know about Alastair, despite our attempt to ask :).
What we do know however is this guy can do some work. “Changes” signed to Alter Ego, is the latest from AWD and Alastair does a phenomenal job of hiding and building to the soul of the track. Starting off on a bubbly bassline, the track almost makes feel like you’re lost at sea in boat tossing and tumbling with the waves – just pleading for the storm to calm to give way to peace and serenity; which is exactly what happens. Through the undulating beats and slow build-up – the track peaks with a glimpse of sunshine – leaving the listener uplifted with the serenity of piano. That’s when Alastair shows his hands and the track comes alive with life and layers of energy.
