Just about everyday I hear something new out of Russia. Maybe it’s because of the sheer size of the country? Perhaps it’s just in the culture? The later is my personal opinion. When I was a young student in college, I was visited a friend’s family from Russia. I spent about a week with them and if I walked away with two things this is what I would say. Russians: a) love caviar and b) love house music. The kids, the parents everyone just has house music playing all day long – and they have a really sweet channel that shows Russian house music videos all day long. Just the way MTV used to be.
This is the latest from Russia: Sound Quelle. Also known as Valery Lebedev is from Tolyatti, Russia Sound Quelle has been pumping out these tunes from the Motherland that are just great. Even though we know very little about the Russian Producer, Sound Quelle is currently signed to LiftedSounds Records and from what we’ve seen so far he’ll be in the game for a bit. All of these tracks are worth checking out and of course we’ll be keeping up on the latest from Sound Quelle (and Russia).
