Today’s Thursday Throwback takes us back to 2008. Early in this year, we saw “Move for Me” and “I remember”, which one could argue was a collaboration that helped put Canadian Deadmau5 on the map. Around that same time Kaskade released “Angel on My Shoulder” which eventually found its way to number 5 on Billboard’s Hot Dance Airplay Chart.
Kaskade, or Ryan Raddon begin his career Djing in his dorm room while in college at The University of Utah. During this time he also operated and managed a record store in Salt Lake City. While gaining experience and exposure to music, he moved to San Francisco in 2000 to pursue his DJ career. Since that time Kaskade has hit nine Top 10 hits on Billboard’s Hot Dance Airplay Chart and has performed between 150 and 200 headlining shows a year for the past 10 years. So here’s to Kaskade, and don’t stop dancing.
